Sound Travels is coming to the UK!

Between 7th – 17th July 2016, monks from Uttar Kamalabari Sattra – a monastery in Assam, northeast India – will be performing at venues throughout the UK. Members of the public will also be invited to take part in  Sattriya Dance workshops and learn the basics of the monks’ astonishing art form.

Wednesday 13th July – Workshop and Performance at Burycourt Opera, Hampshire
Friday 15th July – Workshops with GemArts, Newcastle
Saturday 16th July – Performance at the Sage Gateshead, Newcastle
